I made this blog for a reason, not only to share this with Savannah one day but to also to keep the people who prayed so much and so hard updated. I figured most people followed on Facebook but I know there are bloggers out there so here goes a long needed update. Savannah is one strong little girl, her brothers better watch out. After a little over a month in the NICU Savannah came off all breathing deviceses except the nasal canula and then moved to NICU II where she battled with reflux and feeding issues. She had another surgery and a G-tube put in for her feeds after that she gained enough weight for her to come home on 10/19/2010 a little less then 2 months old. Since being home it's been none stop with doctor's appointments and making sure us as a family bond and start growing together. I have been truly blessed with such a fighter, she truly has many gifts for such a small mirecle. I should be teaching her lifes leasons but it seems it't the other way around.
Savannah is 5months old and has been slowly been gaining weight. She was born at 6lbs 1oz and now weighs 9lbs 2oz I think by now she should have doubled her birth weight. I am in no hurry for her to grow to fast as long as she is doing good.
Even if there is not BIG news to post I hope to keep this blog alive. Again sorry if you have been trying to follow but I promise there always will be updates,
